We take privacy seriously. Below we explain how personal data is processed on this website and what rights you have.

Processing of personal data
We process personal data only as needed to operate this website, handle your enquiries, or where you have given consent.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel (Vercel Inc.) and delivered via a global content delivery network. When you visit the site, technically necessary data is processed so the pages can be displayed in your browser. This may include:
- IP address
- date and time of the request
- URL requested
- browser type and version
- operating system
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure website). Further information: Vercel Privacy Policy.
Contact
When you get in touch by email — or in future via the contact form — we process your details (e.g. name, email, message) to handle your request. We retain this data only as long as needed to process your enquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not use marketing or tracking cookies.
To remember your cookie preferences we use the strictly necessary cookie cc_cookie (retention: approx. 182 days).
You can change your cookie settings here:
For all categories, use “Cookie settings” in the footer.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Value | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
cc_cookie | Cookie | Stores your cookie preferences | Consent status | approx. 182 days |
site-banner-dismissed | sessionStorage | Remembers that a site notice was closed while navigating within the current browsing session | Banner ID, e.g. vacation-2026-07 | Until page reload, tab/window close, or manual deletion of browser data |
Site notice banner
When you close a site notice banner, we store the identifier of the respective banner in your browser using sessionStorage, for example “vacation-2026-07”. This storage is used solely to avoid showing the same notice again while you navigate between pages during the current browsing session.
The identifier is stored only after you actively close the banner. When the page is reloaded, the storage is deleted or ignored so that the notice may be shown again. In any case, sessionStorage is deleted by the browser when the browser tab or window is closed.
No personal profiles are created, no third-party providers are involved, and the information is not used for analytics or marketing purposes.
Legal basis: Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG (formerly TTDSG). Where personal data is concerned, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to avoid repeatedly displaying a notice on every internal page during the same browsing session after it has been closed.
Web analytics
With your consent under the “Statistics” category we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to collect anonymised usage statistics and page performance data.
- Neither service sets cookies or builds user profiles.
- Scripts load only after you consent.
- You can withdraw consent at any time via the toggle in the Cookies section or “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Fonts
Fonts are loaded via Google Fonts (Google LLC). Your IP address may be transmitted to Google.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in consistent presentation).
Interactive travel maps
On travel guide pages (e.g. Sardinia) we load map tiles only after you tap “Enable map”. Your browser then connects to OpenFreeMap; technical data (e.g. IP address, timestamp) may be processed. Map content is based on OpenStreetMap data (ODbL licence).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We optionally link to Google My Maps™. If you follow such a link, Google’s privacy terms apply. We do not embed Google maps in our pages.
Social media
Our website links to our profiles on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. These are plain links only — we do not embed social media content on our pages.
When you click a link, you leave our website. The provider may process data on their site; their privacy policies apply. We do not receive information about your visit there unless you contact us there or via our website.
Your rights
If we process personal data about you, you have in particular the following rights:
- Access to data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), subject to legal retention obligations
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Withdrawal of consent given (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
To exercise your rights, contact info@reboot-publishing.de.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this privacy policy when our website or the legal framework changes. The current version applies on each visit.
